About Us

1st Newtownards Scout Group has been running in the town of Newtownards since 1911 and has provided the young people of the town with the chance to gain new and valuable skills, from cooking, camping, knots, personal hygiene to navigational skills to name but a few.

Most of these skills are taught through camping and outdoor activities, after all this is what Scouting is about.
