Fundraising

As 1st Newtownards Scout Group are in the lucky position of having its own hall, raising funds is vital to ensure to ensure we can keep the Scout Group going.

The membership fees we collect are only a small part of the money that is needed:- we have to run and maintain the Hall, purchase equipment and most importantly run activities so we need to look beyond the subscription and raise money through fundraising without passing all the costs back to the parents.
